Tania and Madge on the Community Heart stall at the Leytonstone Car Free Day
The Community Heart stall did very well at the Leytonstone Car Free day on 23rd September 2007. On sale were books, plants and various craft objects such as candles, jams, leather purses, earrings, greetings cards etc, all made by Thuso Treasurer Tania. She also provided “pick a stick” prizes for children which were very popular. The takings will go to support the Community Heart project of sending books to schools in South Africa, (see Thuso Friends/Community Heart link on right hand side.).
